At first, Wedding Peach (the anime anyway) seems a lot like Sailor Moon's anime - but the manga is a whole other story! Wedding Peach is remarkable
because it's about Momoko - her father's a photographer, her mother (secret revealed later) left when Momoko was a baby. She is a descendant of a love angel and her powers awakened due to the threat of evil demons on Earth. She transforms her 2 best friends, through the power of her own love, into love angels as well and together the 3 battle the demons as Momoko uncovers secrets and figures out how to find the 4-Somethings which the Demons are after. Along the way,
Yosuke - the boy she fights with - wins her heart and she his - their love story amidst the background of the Love Angel's epic battle against the demons makes for a wonderful shoujo romance and magic read! The anime is excellent too as long as you don't get too bothered by how the makers of the Wedding Peach anime strived to make it similar to Sailor Moon - after a few episodes, Wedding Peach stands on its own as a great story and anime. Read the manga first, then watch the anime is my recommendation!
