Usagi, Luna, and the soldiers are now making plans to go to the moon. Usagi is wearing the crystal as a pendant on a necklace around her neck. She appears to have matured, aged, and grown up. Her father, here on earth, comments that sometimes, Usagi seems like a different person. Somehow older. Finally, everyone gathers to go to the moon.

Everyone is gathered at the Crown Game Center. "Are you all ready?" asks Luna. The girls nod. "Then let's go to the park."

"The park?"

"That's the place..." Usagi thinks. "Where I traded Mamo-chan for this watch. I always met him accidentally. He was so stubborn, and we always fought, but... With him I was so happy. I wish I could meet him once more..."

"Usagi?" says Makoto.

Usagi buries her face in her hands. "I have to save him!" she thinks. "What can I do now...? Mamo-chan!"

The soldiers transform. Luna says some chant in a strange language, and all are transported to the Moon, and land in what luna calls: "Mare Serenitatis - The Sea of Serenity."

Usagi looks up at the black sky. "The darkness is like velvet..." she thinks. "So quiet." She looks ahead. "The faded ruins... Crumbled... This is the moon." They approach the ruins. "The Silver Millennium," she thinks. "Where our kingdom was..."

"Those broken pillars," Ami says. "Is this where the shrine was?"

"Yes," says Luna. "The Moon Castle. And here is where the queen used to pray." The walk further along. "Here is the center of the Moon Castle. That is the tower of prayer, the Crystal Tower." A spire rises high above them, its top crumbled like the rest of the area.

Usagi looks at the ground in front of the tower. The hilt of a sword sticks out of the ground, its blade buried in the rock floor. "What's that?" she says.

All the soldiers try as hard to pull the stone sword out. Minako finally achieves this. Here I will include, straight from the manga, what actually happens:

Minako grasps the hilt and pulls. The sword slowly slides out of the ground. Minako holds it up, a look of shock on her face. "A stone sword!?"

A small figure rises from the ground where the sword was stuck. She wears a smooth white dress with wings extending from the back. Her hair looks like Usagi's, with two ponytails extending from balls, that reach her feet.

"That is the holy blade, to protect the princess of legend," she says. "Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, and Venus. You are the others. I called to you on Earth, as an incarnation of the moon goddess, Selene. Luna, you have done well in getting everyone here. I am the old ruler of the Silver Millennium, Queen Selenity."

Usagi's eyes widen. "Queen Selenity...!?" she thinks. "From my previous life... My mother?" She kneels in front of the woman, who still only comes up to Usagi's chest.

"You're so pretty, Selenity," the queen says. "I can see your figure. My body was destroyed, but when the Moon Castle's main computer wouldn't start, I started the sub-computer and left my spirit with it. My image is being generated by the computer. I had Luna and Artemis emerge from their cold sleep. I contacted them and had them watch over you. I've been waiting for this time to come. But now everything is in ruins. Do you remember?"

Usagi thinks of the past as she listens to Queen Selenity.

"When the Moon Castle was beautiful," the queen says. "The winds blowing inside the dome... But, Princess Selenity, you longed for the real wind of nature. You often went to Earth. And then, you found love."

*FLASHBACK TO SELENITY'S LIFE WITH HER COURT*

Sailor Jupiter grabs Princess Selenity's hair. "Princess!"

"Did you sneak off to Earth again!?" Sailor Venus asks.

"You're the heir to the throne of the Silver Millennium," Sailor Mercury says, holding a stack of books. "You must study!"

"Yes..." Usagi thinks. "I wanted to be with him. They were all watching me because I went to Earth so often."

"We were born on the moon," says Queen Selenity. "Our lives were long. The holy stone, the Mystical Silver Crystal, was handed down through generations. We removed the negative influences on Earth. We watched to make sure it evolved in a positive direction. One year... The sun's activity was too much. That abnormal sun created a terrible creature. It crept to Earth before we noticed it. It tried to take over Earth for itself. That creature... It was your enemy, a demon."

The girls stare in silence.

"I watched the huge power carried in the Mystical Silver Crystal," she continues. "That was how we lived long lives. The creature wanted the power. It took advantage of the humans. It manipulated people. Then it came to the moon. Only the young, aggressive prince of the Earth Kingdom, Endymion, tried to stop it. He was too late. He died defending you. You were so overcome with sorrow... You killed yourself."

Usagi's eyes water. "Do you remember? What hapened..." The queen continues. "At last, I sealed it away. But, the Moon Castle had completely crumbled. Then the Earth Kingdom was destroyed. Again we followed Earth's evolution from the beginning. That is the story of the past. But, the demon has been revived again. Now it is hidden somewhere on Earth. You must search for it. When I lost you back then, it was such a shock. I was confused, overcome with grief. With my weak spirit, I made the seal. That used the full power of the Mystical Silver Crystal. The seal became defective. I can't let that happen all over again. It's up to you! Use the true power of the crystal. Seal the demon away, princess! Only you can do it!"

"The true power of the Mystical Silver Crystal?" Usagi thinks.

"Queen!" calls Minako. "There's something strange about the crystal! Its contents went into the body of Prince Endymion. After that, it lost its light."

"It contents went into his body!?" she says. "That's... Maybe... You need to save him, Princess Selenity. Use your will. I know you're worried about him, but it's all right. He's alive. Don't worry."

Usagi sadly says ok.

"Princess Selenity, remember. It all depends on you. You have strong faith, and deep love. Without that, the demon will triumph. Princess, as the justice fighter Sailor Moon, you were proud and self-confident. You were born a girl on Earth, and the real answers are there. I must go now. Sailor Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, and Venus. Please, work together to protect the Princess. I'm already out of power. I can't speak any more. Selenity, be happy."

The Queen disappears with Usagi reaching out for calling after with tears in her eyes.

Usagi drops the crystal to the ground. Tears stream from her eyes. Minako kneels behind her, and rests her hand on Usagi's shoulder.

"The power of theMystical Silver Crystal..." Usagi thinks. "It all depends on me."

The soldiers and Luna then form a circle and transport back to the earth.

The girls are encircled by light and rise up into space. Usagi looks down as they float down over Tokyo. "This isn't like the moon..." she thinks. "The lively sounds. The shining sea. The fresh wind. I dreamed of this planet. I watched over it."

Meanwhile, Kunzite is mourning over the deaths of his beloved friend, the other generals, and is happy he has found his master, Endmymion. He realizes that all the men have turned into small stones. He now knows he is aligned with evil forces and sees Beryl talking to the evil gaseous entity, Metallia. I shall include a scene from the manga, as it is poignant, to show how the evil Beryl manipulated truly good people and destroyed true love.

[Queen Beryl] leans over Tuxedo Kamen's body, her hand caressing his face.

"Queen Beryl," calls Kunzite. "I'm here. If we get the Mystical Silver Crystal, the four generals will come back to life."

"His body's spirit was destroyed..." she remarks about Endymion.

Kunzite remembers the past...

Selenity screams as the blade cuts through Endymion. "Noooo! Endymion!!"

His four generals stare at the prince in horror.

"No..." Kunzite thinks. "That wasn't right. This isn't right. I have to say something before it's too late." He speaks to Queen Beryl. "Just what do you plan to do with Prince Endymion's body?"

Queen Beryl raises her hand at Kunzite. A jewel glows in his forehead. Waves begin flowing into it. "Forget..." she says. "Swear your loyalty to our growing leader. You brought that body to me, and no matter how many times you're reborn, you will work for me. Kunzite, go! I won't allow you to fail again! Try and get energy from the humans. The princess will surely show up. And when she does, take the Mystical Silver Crystal!"

And with that Kunzite is once again turned to evil. He attacks the soldiers in the city. They transform and Sailor Moon flies out over the earth into space so as to lead Kunzite away from the innocent humans. The soldiers follow. He is getting ready to blast Sailor Moon and kill her, but Venus exclaims that they won't watch their Princess die again. All pool their power and blast Kunzite to death.

He reappears as a the jewel Kunzite, at Beryl's feet, and she orders Endymion to wake up. He has black eyes now. Has no spirit. He picks up the jewel and it turns into a cracked stone. Like the stones of Nephrite, Jadeite, and Zoicite.

Queen Beryl then looks at Endymion: "Prince Endymion," she says, approaching him. He stares ahead blankly. "Now you are my puppet. Go above ground. Eliminate the princess of the Moon Kingdom, the Silver Millennium. Bring me the Mystical Silver Crystal."

Now we're upto Act 11 of Volume 3. I shall call Mamoru 'ENDO' in this part because that is what he is. He is not Mamoru, or Endymion or Tuxedo Kamen anymore. Heck, he doesn't even have a soul right now.

Endo has come Tokyo now, has vaporized Motoki's (the crown game center 'Andrew in Dic dib') friend and hypnotized Motoki into believing Endo is his best friend. He bumps into Usagi and she looks as he walks by and sees that he looks just like Tuxedo Kamen. Later, she finds him at the Crown Game Center and sees that he is Chiba Mamoru. She begins to see him every day after school at the center.

Before this, the soldiers had a meeting over the Holy Sword that Venus now possesses. It has just broken a piece of diamond and Ami says:

"As you see," says Ami, "it broke the hardest substance into pieces. That sword isn't made of any ordinary stone. Since we brought it from the shrine on the moon, I've been examining it with Luna. Neither of us has seen anything like it. It has many special parts. I think it has some ability to build up power. It's stone part is extremely venomous. After Usagi- ...the princess committed suicide in her previous life, we were bathed in light. That's all I remember."

"It carried a special poison... The Moon Castle was on the Sea of Serenity. Once it was beautiful crystal palace. Our Moon Kingdom... Back then, the moon wasn't a desolate, dark star. It shined brightly. But the enemy turned it into a star of death."

They stop talking. They see Usagi laying on a couch, asleep. "Talking about this must be hard for Usagi-chan," Makoto says. "Because of Tuxedo Kamen. And she saw her mom, the Queen, on the moon. Her spirit is tired." They carry her into another room and tuck her into a bed.

"We must learn how to seal away the evil enemy," says Minako. "We can use the holy blade of legend to defend the princess. We must locate the headquarters of the enemy. But there is a grave curse of this sword. I wonder how we can use it. How can we defeat the enemy and seal it away?"

Now let's skip to where the Senshi (soldiers) learn that Usagi is always playing the Sailor V game with Endo. Rei says she gets a bad feeling from him and they must keep Usagi away from him.

Later that week, Makoto/Jupiter sees Endo and has a few words with him, but he looks at her with his black, hypnotic eyes and she is brainwashed. She leads him to the control center of the Senshi - the undergrounds of the Crown Game Center. Motoki is with her and he tries to steal the crystal from Usagi but venus kicks him hard in the stomach. Then Endo appears dressed as Tuxdo Kamen. He and Venus fight.

Usagi refuses to fight with Tuxedo Kamen. Luna realizes that Usagi would never fight the man she loves. She jumps onto Endo's shoulder and bites him and screams at Usagi that this man is an imposter. From here on I shall include the manga part because I don't want to leave anything of this extremely important scene out.

"What are you doing?" Endo says. "Get off me!!" He throws Luna against the wall. She hits it hard and falls to the ground.

"Luna!?" Usagi rushes over to her. She kneels beside Luna. "Luna!?" She doesn't respond. "No..." Usagi sees blood on the floor beneath the cat. "No! Luna!!"

Usagi stands up, hanging her head. "That is not Tuxedo Kamen." She thrusts her arm in the air. "Moon Prism Power, Make Up!!" She transforms into Sailor Moon. She looks back. "Luna!!" No response. "Luna...!"

The crystal begins to glow in Endo's hand. "The Mystical Silver Crystal!?"

Usagi uses her moon rod, in Moon Healing Escalation, to restore Luna and Jupiter so they are no longer hurt. She looks at Endo.

"I won't allow this. You impostor! I see what you really are. I will put you away! I am Sailor Moon! In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!!" Usagi thrusts the stick forward, and light flows at Endo, surrounding him. Queen Beryl appears in the light behind him.

"Tuxedo Kamen," she says. "You have done well. Now that I have the Mystical Silver Crystal, I don't have any business with you girls. Sailor soldiers, this place will be your tomb!" She looks at Usagi/Sailor Moon.

"Princess... We meet again. You're still a weak, childish young girl. I am Queen Beryl. Queen of the kingdom of darkness. Princess Selenity, have you always wanted to kill Prince Endymion?"

"Prince Endymion!?" Usagi thinks shocked. "It can't be... Can it!? Can it really be... Mamo-chan!?"

"Mamo-chan!?" she calls out. "He's alive!? Endymion!?"

"Is it you?" she thinks. "Those cold eyes... Doesn't he recognize me!? Could he be under control!? Has he become a tool of the Dark Kingdom? Queen of the kingdom of darkness... Has he become a tool of this Queen Beryl? He came... to steal the Mystical Silver Crystal from me!?"

"No!" she shouts. "Look at me! Tuxedo Kamen! Mamo-chan!?"

"Princess," says Queen Beryl, "your prince doesn't exist anymore. I just put the power of the Mystical Silver Crystal into the dead prince's body. And with the power from Prince Endymion, we will resurrect the growing leader, Queen Metallia. He has been blessed with the power. He is the Dark Kingdom's finest soldier!"

"Dead body!?" Usagi thinks. "Dead!? Impossible. It's impossible!"

Endo and Beryl blow up the ceiling of the arcade and form a warp hole. The Queen Beryl and Tuxedo Kamen are pulled into the black warp. "No matter where it is," she says, "the fight will be the same." A part of her hair whips out and wraps around Usagi's neck.

"I've been waiting a long time for this," Beryl says. "Now tell me! The secret of the Mystical Silver Crystal! It was passed down to the Moon Kingdom, the Silver Millennium... The legendary Mystical Silver Crystal."

She tightens her grasp on Usagi. "Where is the infinite power!? Give me the power, for eternal youth, and unequaled strength!"

Usagi moans. "Princess!!" Minako calls.

"I had been waiting, since ancient times," Beryl says. "One day I saw an extraordinary meteor shower at dawn. In that disastrous year... A gigantic lump appeared on the sun, from an evil black spot. It shot off and came down with the meteor shower. It was born on Earth. The god of darkness awakened then."

"I need the awesome power... Invade the moon! Bring me the infinite power of the Mystical Silver Crystal. Bring me this star, this universe!"

"I bowed to our growing leader, Queen Metallia. Ever since then, I've been waiting..."

"Let the princess go!" Minako says. "Queen Beryl of the Dark Kingdom... Beryl... I remember... You...! You manipulated the people of Earth. Agitated them. You came to attack the moon. You did it all so recklessly. You sold your soul to the devil of the Dark Kingdom. I remember it clearly... And then, what you did... To the princess, and Prince Endymion..."

Selenity screams as the blade cuts through Endymion.

Venus grabs her sword and swings it at Beryl, slicing through her chest. "And you've been reincarnated in this age..."

"That annoying Queen Selenity banished Queen Metallia to the bottom of the earth," says Beryl.

"You don't have to serve that demon!" Minako says.

"But, I will become supreme in this universe. Then, we can rule again! Ha ha! We have the Mystical Silver Crystal and the princess now. We need wait no longer for the revival of the growing leader. I, Queen Beryl, will rule all. I'll be the true queen, with my new companion, Prince Endymion!"

"No..." Usagi cries. The hair holds tight around her neck. "No! Endymion!"

Venus and Jupiter try to cut the hair strangling Usagi. They both try to lift the heavy sword. They fail. Then try again and cut the hair but Usagi is still entangles.

"The moon!" calls Minako. "Our kingdom, the Silver Millennium." She raises the sword high. "With the strength of my old life!"

"Mamo-chan!" Usagi cries. "Endymion!! I'll win you back!"

The crystal begins to glow in his hand.

Minako clutches the sword and charges.

The sword pierces Beryl through the stomach and begins to glow. She screams as blood flows out of her wound.

"The sword!?" Minako thinks. "That light..." "I finally had you..." thinks Beryl. "Prince Endymion..."

The young Beryl watches from afar as Endymion and Selenity embrace.

"I've always been watching you." Her face contorts, her body begins to disintegrate. "Always." Beryl's tiara drops to the floor.

Minako stares at the glowing sword. She reads the words on the sword. "'When the sword glows... the princess will be the queen. The spirit of the Mystical Silver Crystal will appear. It will become complete. It will become great. The power of the Moon Kingdom will awaken. Give a prayer at the Moon Tower. Pray that the Moon Kingdom will have peace again...'" Minako collapses, and Endo rushes and grabs her and enters the black portal with her and the sword. Usagi is also taken into the portal hole. Just as the others chase after to save Usagi and Minako, the portal closes.

The soldiers learn that Usagi, Endo, and Minako have been transported to the Arctic. They also transport there. All find a castle. Usagi has followed Endo all the way there. Here is the exact manga translation of what occurs:

Torches light the walls of the castle. "Where is this...? Dark... And so cold..." Usagi thinks.

"So you followed all this way."

Usagi looks up and sees Tuxedo Kamen standing over her.

Minako lies unconscious on the floor beside him, next to the sword.

He slowly walks toward Usagi.

"Tuxedo Kamen..." she says. "Endymion... It's me. Selenity."

He holds up the Mystical Silver Crystal. Its light glows on his face, shining on his white eyes. The crystal fades away. He touches his hands to her face. He leans his head close to hers. He grabs Usagi by the neck and lifts her in the air. Usagi screams. He glares at her, his eyes black. He holds up the crystal.

"Tell me! If this is the Mystical Silver Crystal, why does it give out no power? Besides this tiny piece and that sword, is there another Mystical Silver Crystal with more power!?"

"No-..." says Usagi, as his grip tightens around her neck.

"What is this great power of the moon!? Is it power carried by another Mystical Silver Crystal!? Where is that!?"

"This can't be..." thinks Usagi. "This person, doing this..."

She reaches for the crystal in his hand. As she touches it, a blinding light flashes from it, knocking her back onto the floor.

Now Rei, Makoto, and Ami appear. "Sailor Moon!! Sailor Venus!!", they yell.

A dark, gaseous entity appears from all around him. "Carrier of the blood of the Moon Kingdom," it says. "So you've come this far, to this closed empire of the Dark Kingdom."

The girls step back. "Is this the great ruler, Queen Metallia!? Our ultimate enemy!?"

Tuxedo Kamen thrusts his arm forward, and the girls are blown against the wall. Luna appears before them, and blocks his attack.

"Usagi-chan!" Luna says. "His being this strong is due to the power of the Mystical Silver Crystal taken in by his body."

Minako sits up, holding the sword.

"Listen carefully," says Luna. "What is written on the sword is the method for the seal. To seal away that demon, Queen Metallia, the complete form of the Mystical Silver Crystal is necessary. Using the power of Usagi-chan's spirit, take the contents of the Mystical Silver Crystal absorbed into him before, and return it to inside the crystal! That will be the complete form. Then, using that as a switch, open the power! You must seal away Queen Metallia and vanquish it! That time has come, Sailor Moon!"

"Power, you say?" says Queen Metallia. "The infinite power of the Mystical Silver Crystal? Where is it!? The source of the power! Give it to me!"

"It is the power to bury you, Queen Metallia!" says Luna.

"Thoughtless, weak, know-nothing princess. Are you the one who can seal me away? Heh heh... Your corpse will lie eternally in the Dark Kingdom."

"Evil spirit..." calls Rei as she draws her arms together.

"Mars!" yells Usagi.

"Begone!!"

The attack is drawn into the darkness.

"Heh heh..." says Queen Metallia. "More, more energy!"

"It didn't work!?" says Rei. "That's...!?"

"What can we do!" says Makoto. "We don't have a chance like this. How can we even attack Tuxedo Kamen...!"

"He's being reborn now as another personality!" says Minako. "He's the same as Queen Metallia! We have to get him back!"

She brings her arms together over her head. "My planet of love, Venus! Give me the strength of love!"

"V-chan, no!" calls Usagi.

"Rolling Heart Vibration!"

The attack shoots at Tuxedo Kamen.

He raises his hand and the attack dissipates. Minako is knocked back onto the floor.

"Venus!" calls Usagi. She holds up the moon stick. "Moon Healing Escalation!" Power blasts at Tuxedo Kamen, surrounding him.

He grips the crystal before his black eyes. "It's useless," he says. "You cannot beat me."

"Whatever I do," thinks Usagi, "he won't return to his old self!? I have to defeat Queen Metallia. But to do that, I have to take out the power of the Mystical Silver Crystal from inside him..."

"It seems the power was absorbed by the dead prince's body," said Beryl, "but he never awakened. It's futile. The prince was resurrected with the power of Queen Metallia!"

"Is he a different person now!? Can I do nothing but defeat him!? Kill him...?" She starts to cry. "No... No!!" As she holds her head, supersonic waves form from her two balls of hair. The waves shake Tuxedo Kamen as he holds the crystal. A ball of light emerges from his body, and floats into the crystal.

"Tuxedo Kamen and the Mystical Silver Crystal," says Luna, "are reflecting the chaos in Usagi-chan's heart, and resonating...!"

"Usagi-chan's heart..." says Ami, "is controlling the power of the Mystical Silver Crystal?"

Usagi looks at Tuxedo Kamen. He stares back at her, his hands glowing. Power blasts at her and the others, knocking them back.

"Queen Selenity..." thinks Usagi. "Tell me... I can't do it..."

"There is no one but you who can do it!" said the queen. "Please, take pride and self-confidence in being the princess and the soldier of justice, Sailor Moon."

Usagi stands up. "I can't stand to see him like this...Is there nothing I can do but this?" She picks up the sword. "Is this... our destiny having been reborn?" She lunges at Tuxedo Kamen. She swings the sword across his chest. Blood sprays as he reaches his hand out. He holds her head close to his. He looks at her with white eyes. They close their eyes, and kiss deeply.

"Mamo-chan..."

Usagi holds out the sword, and plunges it into her own chest.

"Endymion... I love you. You are the first and only one I've fallen in love with. Even if we are reborn, I will surely meet you again. We will surely fall in love again."

The others look on in horror at Usagi, as she falls past Tuxedo Kamen.

"Endymion... We will cross time, and be reborn... And next time... We will be happy... Endymion..."

"Princess!" calls Minako. "Oh no..." Her eyes water. "We were not reborn to live this moment again...!! Is this our unavoidable destiny?"

Usagi and Tuxedo Kamen collapse on the ground. The sword hits the floor with a clang.

"Noooo!" shouts Minako. "Are we only repeating our former lives?"

The crystal floats in the air, and joins with the light from Tuxedo Kamen.

"The Mystical Silver Crystal..." says Luna. "It's returning to its complete form!?"

It shines brightly. A chamber of crystal appears around the two bodies, sealing them inside.

Then darkness grows. It is metallia. It embraces the crystal and swallows Usagi and Mamoru inside.

As Metallia grows, the soldiers realize there is only one way try and help to defeat metallia - by sacrificing their lives. By doing so, they will unleash the ultimate powera of all their planets. They all pray to the Princess to wake up, to be alive, and to save them all. They combine their powers with their pens. There is a blast. And four soldiers lie dead on the ground.

*FLASHBACK TO THE SILVER MILLENIUM*

Selenity sneaks around a pillar.

"Found you! Princess!" says Venus. "Going to see the prince again? I know you're infatuated, but approaching him... it's dangerous!"

"It is not infatuation!" says Selenity. "Venus... Being that you've never truly fallen in love..." She sticks out her tongue. "You don't know my feelings!"

She runs off.

"Princess!" says Venus. "Oh... I have too..."

On the Earth now..

Venus grabs Selenity.

"Princess! Did you come here again!? Come on, we're going home."

"It must be tough having a princess so full of curiosity," says Kunzite.

Venus blushes.

"Kunzite!" says Endymion.

"Venus?" says Mercury.

Venus shakes her head.

"I'm worried," she says. "That watching over Earth, protecting the Mystical Silver Crystal, and one day becoming queen... Even though she's in love, she may get hurt."

Princess Selenity/Usagi is now thinking with Endymion beside her:

"Feeling the wind blow here, looking at the sea like this... It gives me peace of mind."

Endymion turns to her. "When you look from the moon, what does this planet look like?"

"It looks like a blue crystal ball," says Selenity.

They kiss under the moonlight.

"Endymion... So warm... When I'm with you, my spirit instantly becomes clear... I fill with strength... I want to be with you always... Like this for eternity..."

They look out and see darkness in the distance.

"Those..." says Selenity. "What are those black clouds?"

"I don't know," says Endymion. "For some time there has been darkness over there, and clusters of huge monoliths have appeared. And they gradually spread over the planet..."

Scene of the end of the Silver Millenium:

Beryl's army attacks the palace.

Endymion stands in front of Selenity, his sword drawn.

"Stop!" he says. "You must not have such strife and hatred!"

As Beryl raises her sword, a black cloud of energy forms behind her.

Selenity screams as the blade cuts through Endymion.

"Endymion!!"

She picks up the sword, and plunges it into her own chest.

Her four soldiers gasp.

"Princess!"

Queen Selenity sees the tragedy:

"I had a feeling this love would end in sorrow. Love should not bind partners from the different planets, Earth and the moon..."

Queen Selenity sees the princess, her four soldiers, and Endymion lying on the ground, lifeless.

Tears fall from her eyes.

"I'll confine that demon... And along with this moon, seal everything... I will entrust you to the future!"

Princess Selenity/Usagi thinking as death takes over:

"Endymion... Next time, we will be reborn on the same planet, and we will be happy. Mystical Silver Crystal entrusted to me... Please, search for us together... Embrace me softly... Protect us, and next time, make us happy..."

Present day now:

Usagi opens her eyes. Darkness surrounds her.

"Where is this...? It's dark, and cold... Such darkness. Am I alive...? Am I dreaming?"

A shining crystal appears in front of her. "The Mystical Silver Crystal..."

She sees a body next to her. "Endymion?" She touches her chest.

"I... The wound from piercing my chest is..."

She pulls out the star-shaped watch, chipped and cracked.

"I put it against my chest... Mamo-chan's pocket watch... It's in pieces... Did it take the sword for me!?"

A tear streaks down her cheek. "It's not a dream... Was I the only one brought back to life? This is..." The tear runs off her face and lands on the glowing crystal.

The crystal spreads open like a flower, shining brightly.

She then hears voices of hatred and spite, anger coming from the people of earth. She realizes she is INSIDE Metallia.

"Have you awakened!? Carrier of the blood of the Moon Kingdom!! What is this power of life, impudent one!! Heh heh... But you are now in my hands, and I will crush you!!" Metallia yells.

"No!" thinks Usagi. "I have to get out of here!" She holds the glowing crystal.

"Ohh!? The insides of my body are hot!! What are you doing!!" She appears outside on the rocky ground. "I made it out!?" she thinks. "We were enveloped in the Mystical Silver Crystal!?"

Usagi holds Tuxedo Kamen's hand in hers.

"His hand..." she says. "Your hand... It's getting warmer!? Mamo-chan?"

He slowly opens his eyes. "Sailor Moon?"

Her eyes water. "Mamo-chan...! It's a miracle...!"

He holds his hands in front of his black eyes.

"I can't see... anything..." he says.

"Mamo-chan!?" she cries. "It can't be...! Your eyes!?"

The cloud of darkness approaches behind Usagi. She turns around. "Queen Metallia!?"

She holds the crystal up, and blinding light blasts at the darkness.

"Such strong power!!" it says. "Much, much greater power than the mass I took in!! Give it to me!! That Mystical Silver Crystal!! That power!!"

"It's getting bigger and bigger," thinks Usagi. "Why!? Can't I seal this thing away with the Mystical Silver Crystal!? Is there still not enough power!?"

"Usagi-chan!!" calls Luna.

"Hold yourself together, Sailor Moon!" says Minako.

"Luna! Everyone, where are you!? I don't have the allies who are always with me to encourage me! I came to fight together, but... Where!? Where are you!? Not... In this thing...!?"

Usagi blasts more power into the darkness.

"Sailor Moon!?" calls Mamoru.

"It's no use," she thinks. "I can't make the seal. By myself I don't have the strength!"

"I feel it," thinks Mamoru. "Sailor Moon... Your pain... I will feel it too, to take it off you..."

He reaches into his jacket and pulls out a cracked jewel. "I kept it against my chest... The stone is in pieces... The four stones..."

An image appears before him.

He strains to see it.

"Our master," says the voice. "We're finally able to meet."

"Kunzite...? Is that you?"

"Queen Metallia, the obstacle, is an emperor of darkness with the power to turn everything to stone. That demon will absorb all the energy, and enlarge the substance of the darkness. The mark on that thing's forehead... That is Queen Metallia's heart. If you concentrate your power and aim your attack there..." Kunzite tells him.

He stands with the three other generals. "Master, we are glad to have been able to meet you. We hope this time you two will have peace..." The stone shatters in Mamoru's hand.

"Kunzite... Jadeite... Nephrite... Zoisite..."

He feels his chest. "Did you stop the sword tip for me? Did you bring me back to life?"

He runs to Usagi. "Sailor Moon! Metallia's weak point is its forehead!"

She turns and looks at him.

"Bring out your usual cheer!" he says. "Don't cry! Have confidence in yourself. Your allies must be thinking that as well. It's all right. If they're your allies, surely they are watching you somewhere."

He holds her face. "Use all your strength. If your strength isn't enough, I will give my strength to you. In place of your allies, I will help you. I'll always be by your side, Selenity."

"Endymion..." She touches her hand to his.

"He always gives me his strength," she thinks. "I, and the Mystical Silver Crystal... I can't believe it... We're filling with courage, and strength... Rapidly... Becoming strong..."

"Ohh!" says Queen Metallia. "So you can manipulate at will the power of the Mystical Silver Crystal! This one little girl! The power of the Mystical Silver Crystal! I will not let you confine me! I will smash you to pieces! I will crush you!!"

"No, Queen Metallia!!" Usagi grabs the moon stick. The stick lengthens into a rod, the crystal floating over it. "You are the one who will be dust of darkness!!"

Mamoru looks up at the sky. "I can see the moon..." he thinks. "Shining with white!"

Usagi holds up the crescent rod as the crystal glows. The full moon shines down on her.

"I, Sailor Moon and Princess Selenity, now with the strength of the moon, I will seal you away!"

The shining flower-shaped crystal locks on to the crescent of the moon stick. Power blasts forth. The cloud of darkness continues approaching.

"Metallia is unaffected!?" cries Usagi.

"Sailor Moon!" calls Mamoru. "Don't hesitate! Pray! Use all your strength! Waken the great power of the moon... Pray to the sacred tower of the moon... For peace..."

"I won't give up!" she thinks. "Stronger! Power! Great power of the moon! Awaken! I put in the strength of all my heart and soul! To that thing's weak spot!"

The sword and the four pens rise into the air. Their power shoots into the sky, toward the moon.

*FLASHBACK TO QUEEN'S CONVERSATION WITH LUNA*

"Luna," says the queen. "Come this way. This is the heart of our sanctuary, the Moon Castle. The room of prayer."

She leads Luna into the room.

"And that is the Crystal Tower. The tower of prayer. If anything should ever happen to this planet and the ones we love, pray to that tower. If you do that, this planet will protect them. Our moon."

*PRESENT*

"Prayer," says Luna. "Prayer is making the Mystical Silver Crystal... grow!? This power! Can it be...!"

She senses Usagi's spirit. "Usagi-chan...!! Usagi-chan is fighting on the surface! She's praying! Together with Usagi-chan...! Make us one! Now open the great power of the moon!!"

Mamoru looks up into the sky, squinting. Bright light shines down.

"This white light is pouring into my blind eyes... The true brilliance of the moon. The same brilliance as the Mystical Silver Crystal!"

"Ohh!" says Metallia. "This brilliance of the moon! This is it! The enormous power I have been searching for!" The light shines on the cloud of darkness. "I can't reach it!! What pressure!! My body... is being broken through!!"

"Begone!" says Usagi. She holds up the crystal rod. "With the power of this sacred light!! Turn to dust!"

Light shines from the crystal to the mark on Metallia's forehead. Metallia screams as the light penetrates. The cloud of darkness blasts apart into nothingness.

Usagi's eyes widen and she falls forward. The brooch on her chest shatters. She collapses wearing her school uniform.

Luna's spirit returns to her body and sh and Artemis return to the moon. The old beautidul palace stands restored before them. "Usagi-chan's Mystical Silver Crystal led it... It was resurrected with the great power of the moon.", Luna says.

The wind blows around Mamoru as he looks into the sky. "I don't feel the strong light of the moon that was just here," he thinks. "Has it returned to the normal, subdued light of the moon? I wonder if it saved this planet."

He feels the ground. "My planet... It's only a little injured. If it's like this... It will be all right."

He sees Usagi lying on the ground. "Sailor Moon?" He lifts her in his arms.

"Her body's... cold... Did she use up her strength? All of her strength..."

He leans down and kisses her deeply on the lips.

Her eyes slowly open. She looks into his white eyes.

"I can see..." he says. "Your face... I can see it clearly!"

"Endymion?"

"Selenity!!"

"Endymion...! We're together... Finally!"

"I can see..." thinks Luna. "The princess was wakened by the kiss of her prince."

"Mamo-chan...! I'm so glad...! Mamo-chan..."

"Usako... I've always wanted to hold you like this, Usako."

"We were born here to bind together."

"Selenity."

"Endymion."

She looks at him.

"Mamo-chan, I love you... We won't be apart anymore."

She hears the voices of her friends.

"Usagi-chan..."

"Usagi-chan..."

"We're glad..."

"Everyone...!" says Usagi. She turns around. "Everyone? My allies?" She looks over the empty field. "Where are you?"

Mamoru takes her hand. "It's all right. I'll search."

"Mamo-chan?" He presses his hand to the ground.

"I can see," she thinks. "Holding his hand, images of this planet... Endymion, this is your power, isn't it. This is your power from this planet."

The four soldiers lie dead on the ground.

Usagi gasps. "Everyone!? No... It can't be...!"

"Usagi-chan? Usagi-chan, can you hear me?"

"Luna!? she says. "Luna, is that you!? Where are you!?"

"The moon. Usagi-chan, come to the moon."

"Luna! What about them all!? Oh no, did Queen Metallia!? I have to save them all! Luna, my brooch... My transformation came undone. I can't transform anymore. I don't have any power anymore..."

She holds the shattered brooch in her hands.

"You can make it to the moon now, Usagi-chan. Pray to the Mystical Silver Crystal that's become one with the moon stick."

She picks up the rod.

Mamoru holds her.

"To the moon!"

Usagi gasps.

"The Moon Castle...!"

"That's right, Usagi-chan," says Luna. "The Silver Millennium has been resurrected. The master of the Moon Castle is you. Usagi-chan, you will be the new Queen Selenity. The new queen!"

"Luna..." says Usagi. "But I have to go home, where my mom and dad are waiting. I may be Selenity, but... I am Tsukino Usagi. The Earth where Mamo-chan is, is now the place where I am."

"Usagi-chan," says Luna.

The small image of the queen appears on the ground before the tower.

"Queen!?"

"Please be happy, Selenity," she says. "This time, with the one you love."

The image vanishes.

On the floor in front of the tower, a small, round brooch appears. Usagi bends down and picks it up. "This is... a new brooch!?" She opens it up and sees a small hole.

"Put the Mystical Silver Crystal inside this," says Luna. "Then shout! Moon crystal power, make up! You will be able to use more power than before. You can be strong! Transform, and go save everyone!"

"Moon Crystal Power, Make Up!!"

She stares at Earth through space. She raises the moon stick with the crystal.

"Moon Healing Escalation!"

She heals everyone on earth. The four soldiers rise up, alive once more. All the humans of earth get up as if they had just had a strange dream. Usagi sees her beloved friends. She runs into their arms.

"I thought I might never see you again!" Tears fall from their eyes as they embrace.

The sun is coming up and they all return to their homes. Victorious.

The next morning, the girls greet eachother as they pass on the way to schoo. No one has lost their memories. I don't know *WHY* in the anime they do lose it. Now let's go to the scene b/t Usagi and Mamoru.

Usagi enters Ichinohashi Park with a smile.

She sneaks up behind the bench.

She leans down and kisses Mamoru on the cheek.

"You're late," he says, smiling. "I bet you were in detention again."

"No, I was not!" says Usagi. "Look! Your pocket watch." She holds it out. "I had it all fixed up."

She reaches up and takes off his glasses.

"See? It's moving, isn't it!"

They touch lips, close their eyes, and kiss deeply.

A small flash of light appears in the sky. A black ball shaped like Luna's head drops down from it, and hits Mamoru on the head.

They look up. A huge blast of light appears, and Usagi screams.

This is the famous scene where Chibi Usagi comes holding a gun and demanding that Usagi give her the crystal. But instead of shooting her, flowers come out of the gun in a very comical scene and Chibi Usa (Rini) runs away.
