"Healer!! Maker!! Fighter!!" Kakyuu runs to the three bodies lying on the ground.

"Princess Kakyuu!" Usagi calls. She grabs onto her hand.

"Let me go! The Starlights! I have to save them! Put out that blue fire! Their bodies are-!"

The three bodies turn to ash before them.

"Healer! Maker! Fighter!" Kakyuu yells. "Nooooo!" She runs crying to Usagi's arms.

"Their bodies...!"

"All that is a sailor soldier is inside the sailor crystals," said Yaten. "The crystals of unknown power, the sailor crystals, won't disappear!"

"Won't disappear!"

"Princess Kakyuu!" Usagi says. "Let's go! We'll get back their sailor crystals! If we can get back their sailor crystals, we'll be able to bring their bodies back to life!"

"Sailor Moon...!"

Usagi, Kakyuu, and Chibi-Chibi fly alone through space.

A light appears in the distance.

"That light!?"

They see an image through it.

"A castle!?"

As they turn toward it, it vanishes.

"It disappeared!?"

Another light appears far behind them.

The castle materializes again, then vanishes.

"Again!?"

It appears again in another direction. They run toward it.

"We go toward it, we go toward it, and it disappears. We can't reach it."

"Sailor Moon...!" says Kakyuu.

"A mirage?" thinks Usagi. "An illusion? No! Galaxia should be looking forward to fighting us as well. We shouldn't be unable to reach it. Where is it...? Where are you watching us, Galaxia!? Where are everyone's sailor crystals!?"

Galaxia smiles.

"Sailor Moon," she says. "So you've finally made it here, to the Galactica Palace..."

The Anima Mates kneel before her.

"Galaxia-sama, please forgive us for the failure of Sailors Lethe and Mnemosyne. We have brought their sailor crystals here."

They present two sailor crystals, which are absorbed into the giant crystal held above them.

"No matter how many times I see it, it's still beautiful. The brilliance of the sailor crystals throughout the galaxy...! Just as if the sailor soldiers could be breathing inside this enormous Garden Crystal. Essentially their destroyed bodies and spirits, which carried nothing but the sailor crystals and some small power. The ability to make use of the great power, and everything, comes from the power of our galaxy's queen's, Galaxia-sama's Sapphire Crystal."

"Soon I will have the most powerful sailor crystals in the galaxy," says Galaxia. "When I have both the galaxy's most destructive, the Sapphire Crystal I carry, and the infinite power of rebirth in Sailor Moon's Silver Moon Crystal... I will be undefeatable. All of the galaxy--no, all of space will be mine in the same way!"

"Galaxia-sama, we have also brought the Sailor Starlights' crystals here."

The Anima Mates raise the three crystals into the Garden Crystal above.

"On the next stage, we will obtain the crystals of the remaining ones as well. Leave it to us!"

They disappear.

"My soul is tingling..." thinks Galaxia. "So the time has finally come."

Her Sapphire Crystal glows on her chest, and the golden sailor suit appears on her body.

"Sailor Moon, I will be able to meet you at last. At the place where destiny began, the time has come at last to begin a new history of the galaxy."

She walks through the silent hall of the palace.

"Chaos-sama," she says. "The time we've been waiting for has arrived."

The formless energy looks back at her.

"Ohh... So the time has come at last. The time of the beginning of the new universe."

A fog surrounds Usagi, Kakyuu, and Chibi-Chibi as they run blindly.

"Fog!?" Usagi thinks. "All of a sudden!?"

She stops.

Rows and rows of crosses and tombstones line the ground before her.

"Where are we...!?"

They see a winged figure, standing in a swarm of butterflies.

"This is the final land to where the remnants of dead stars drift," the woman says. "These butterflies are the last flames of the stars. The funeral procession of the butterflies scatters across the galaxy, with never an interruption."

They see the faces of Seiya, Taiki, and Yaten on three of the crosses in the ground.

"These graves...!?"

Kakyuu drops to her knees.

"The Starlights' graves!? It can't be!"

"Look there," the woman says, pointing to a new grave being freshly dug. "It seems there are more with flames of life to extinguish here. I wonder what color of butterflies will fly this time."

Usagi looks at the three empty graves, and sees crosses with the faces of Kakyuu, herself, and Chibi-Chibi.

"Our graves!?"

Vines rip into the air behind them, and wrap around their bodies.

"What a pity!" the woman says. "The next funeral procession will be for you!"

Usagi chokes for air as the vines tighten around her neck.

"I am the final soldier of the Sailor Anima Mates!" the woman says. "The soul hunter, Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon! I will give you the most beautiful and saddening funeral procession ever! For the end of the messiah of misfortune, I've decided on incineration! I want you to suffer!"

Flames light from her hands, and leap toward the three as they strain in their bonds. They cry out in pain as the flames burn them.

A light appears in the sky.

Five lights descend from above.

Chibi-Usa and her four guardian soldiers appear.

"Pink Ladies Freezing Kiss!"

The vines break apart, freeing the three. They fall to the ground.

"Amazoness Jungle Arrow!!"

Papillon's body is torn to shreds.

"Sailor Ceres!"

"Pallas!"

"Juno!"

"Vesta!"

"The Sailor Quartet!"

"And Sailor Chibi-Moon are here!"

"Chibi-Moon!!" says Usagi.

"Sailor Moon!!" says Chibi-Usa. "Sorry we're late. We are also soldiers of the solar system. We came to help you, Sailor Moon. Everyone has fallen in the 30th century. Their sailor crystals were shining like a signal, and all their bodies faded...!"

"By Sailor Galaxia's attack, all their bodies were destroyed as humans," says Usagi. "Their sailor crystals were stolen. Not just us, but the sailor soldiers throughout the galaxy as well... In the 30th century, all their lives have finally..."

"Will the future you know, really come?"

"It will come! By my own hands, I'll show you our future!"

"We don't have a moment to lose," she says. "We will surely get back all their sailor crystals! And then we'll bring all their bodies back to life, as they were! Chibi-Moon, I'm glad you made it here safely..."

"I was thinking you might be fighting on Earth, so I went there from the 30th century," says Chibi-Usa. "But I didn't see you anywhere... After Luna, and Artemis, and Diana, too, had already been defeated...!"

Usagi gasps. "Luna and the others...!!"

"Sailor Moon," says Ceres. "In a moment, we realized you were already in the enemy's territory. A ray of light showed us the way."

"We felt your voice, Usagi," says Chibi-Usa. "For an instant. Was it you who led us here, Sailor Moon?"

"No," says Usagi. "It wasn't me. I don't have that power... With Princess Kakyuu's help, we used everyone's power to come here..."

"It was not my power either," says Kakyuu. "To reach the power of distant Earth, from here in the center of the galaxy, at Zero Star of Sagittarius... I don't have such..."

"Then..." says Chibi-Usa. "Who could it be...!?"

"What about that small soldier?" says Ceres.

They look at Chibi-Chibi.

"This kid is Sailor Chibi-Chibi," says Usagi.

Chibi-Usa grimaces.

"Sailor Chibi-Chibi?"

"Yep! Even like this, she's a fine soldier. Sailor Chibi-Chibi... Say, shouldn't you put a moon after that?"

Chibi-Chibi looks puzzled.

"She came here across time and space just like you, Chibi-Usa," says Usagi. "Isn't she your little sister?"

"M- My little sister!?"

"Could it be the Queen's second child?" says Ceres. "Now that you mention it, you two look exactly alike."

"I heard that from generation to generation, the Millennium's queen only gives birth to one princess," says Vesta.

"I also learned that!" says Juno.

"Me too!" says Pallas.

"She's not my child?" says Usagi. "Then... Could she be Chibi-Usa's child?"

"My child!?" says Chibi-Usa.

"Anyway, this kid never says anything to us. We don't know who she is, or what she wants. But we do know that she is a fine ally of ours. She's fought together with us until here, and we've been helped by her many times."

"My child...?" says Chibi-Usa. "No... She's not."

"Small Lady?" says Ceres.

"She's not. I know. Could it be... Has she come here to us from a great distance? Reaching the center of the galaxy this easily... Power on par with Sailor Moon's... Who on earth are you...?"

Chibi-Chibi hides behind Usagi.

They turn.

"The fog is clearing!"

They see a large palace standing before them, with a huge crystal held at the top.

"Is that... Galaxia's castle!?"

The Anima Mates appear behind them.

"Welcome to our Star Garden!" they say. "We are the Star Gardeners."

"Sailor Phi!"

"Sailor Chi!"

"Where are the Starlights' crystals!?" says Kakyuu. "Return them!"

Chi points upwards.

"They can't be, inside that crystal!?"

"What's this!" says Phi. "Again new sailor crystals have made their way here to Zero Star? We have you in our grasp!"

Crystals appear around them.

"Our garden's Garden Crystals will take care of you with pleasure!"

"Sailor Moon!" says Kakyuu. "I'll fight as well! I am also a sailor soldier! Kinmoku Star Power! Make Up!!"

"Princess Kakyuu!?"

"I am the guardian soldier of the planet Kinmoku. I am Sailor Kakyuu, your partner! Healer! Maker! Fighter! Give me power!"

She thrusts her arm out.

"Starlights Royal Straight Flush!!"

Cards shoot out, destroying crystals on the ground.

Phi and Chi gasp. The remaining crystals vanish.

"They're gone!?" thinks Kakyuu. "Where are the Starlights' crystals!?"

"Damn you!" says Phi. "Galactica Plants Blizzard!!"

"Kinmoku Fusion Tempest!"

A storm of flowers swirls around Kakyuu.

Usagi clutches her scepter. "Starlight...!"

"Sailor Moon!" says Kakyuu. "The center of their power is their bracelets!"

"Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!!"

Phi is destroyed.

"Princess!" calls Chibi-Usa.

Chi leaps at Kakyuu from behind, plunging her staff through her back.

"Princess Kakyuu!!" says Usagi.

Blood spews as Chi yanks out the staff.

The Sailor Quartet combine their power, and attack Chi.

Kakyuu falls to the ground.

Usagi runs to her.

"Princess Kakyuu!!"

She holds her in her arms.

"Kakyuu!!"

"Sailor Moon..." says Kakyuu. "When this war ends... I wonder if a new world will begin... Next time... Maybe it will be a world without war... But if the wars continue... it will be all right..."

She takes Usagi's hand.

"I want to be born together with everyone... again... I wonder... if I will..."

"Of course," says Usagi. "We are soldiers with sailor crystals. We can be born again and again."

"That's right... The sailor crystals... are our... hope... aren't they..."

Her head falls back lifelessly.

"Kakyuu!!!" Usagi cries.

A staff strikes the ground between Kakyuu's legs.

"If you die too," says Chi, "the futile fighting and suffering will end! For our kingdom's ruler of the galaxy--no! For our ruler of the universe, I must sacrifice that infinite power carried in the Silver Moon Crystal to the Shadow Galactica!"

"Whatever lives it costs, the war will not end," Usagi thinks. "There can be no victor left from this war!"

She stands up.

"I won't let you have it. With the power of this Silver Moon Crystal, I will end the war!"

"Our hope..."

"The sailor crystals aren't for destruction and war! They are for peace and happiness, and rebirth! I believe in that!"

She thrusts her scepter out, and Chi is destroyed.

Nine lights appear at the palace gates.

"Sailor Moon!!" calls Chibi-Usa.

She jumps and pushes Usagi away as Kakyuu's body is lifted into the air.

Kakyuu's body is torn apart, leaving only a crystal.

"Kakyuu!?"

The crystal vanishes, and reappears in the hand of a sailor-suited figure.

"Your next opponents..." she says.

The eight sailor soldiers of the solar system stand at the palace gates, bracelets adorning their wrists.

"Are us, Sailor Moon!!"

Act 50

Usagi stares in disbelief.

Chibi-Usa and her four soldiers stand with their mouths hanging open.

"It can't be..."

On the steps of the palace stand the eight soldiers of the solar system.

They stare at Usagi coldly.

Usagi smiles. "Venus!! Mercury!! Mars!! Uranus!! Neptune!! Jupiter!! Pluto!! Saturn!! Everyone...!!"

Chibi-Usa sees the metal bracelets on their wrists.

"Galaxia's bracelets!?"

A black cape blows in the wind from behind the door of the palace.

Tuxedo Kamen steps out to join the other soldiers, the blackness of space behind him.

Usagi gasps.

"Tuxedo Kamen!? Mamo-chan!?"

Chibi-Chibi grabs onto Usagi's leg and struggles to hold her back.

"Sailor Moon!"

Usagi knocks her away.

"Sailor Moon!?" says Chibi-Usa.

Usagi runs toward the palace.

"Mamo-chan! Everyone...!"

Tuxedo Kamen grins evilly.

"Kill Sailor Moon," he says. "Then take her Silver Moon Crystal!"

"Your first opponents are us!" say Mercury and Mars.

"Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!"

"Mars Flame Sniper!"

The Sailor Quartet jump in front of Usagi, and are struck by the attacks.

"Ceres! Pallas! Juno! Vesta!"

Usagi looks at the others. "Everyone!? Are they being manipulated!?"

"Sailor Moon!" says Chibi-Usa. "Their bracelets! If you take those off, they'll be back to normal for sure!"

Chibi-Chibi grabs onto Chibi-Usa.

"Chibi-Chibi!?"

She holds Chibi-Usa's hand.

"What!?"

Chibi-Usa sees the images of the others being killed.

"Mamo-chan!? Mercury!? Jupiter!? Mars!? Venus!? Uranus!! Neptune!! Pluto!! Saturn!!"

She drops to her knees.

"Chibi-Chibi, these visions... Were they all taken this way!? Just like dust, in one moment they were...!"

"I am next!" says Jupiter.

"Then, the ones before us now...!" Chibi-Usa thinks.

"Jupiter Oak Evolution!"

Usagi is knocked to the ground.

"Sailor Moon!!"

Chibi-Usa runs to her.

"They're enemies!" she says. "Impostors made by Galaxia!"

"Enemies!?" says Usagi. "No way! These powers, these strengths... It's them! They're alive!"

"That's right. It's us," says Pluto. "We have been newly reborn! Cronos Typhoon!"

The attack strikes Usagi, throwing her back across the ground.

"Pluto!?" thinks Chibi-Usa. "No, this is not Pluto! Sailor Moon!"

"Galaxia-sama," says Uranus. "Give me power! Galactica Space Turbulence!"

Chibi-Usa cries out in pain as the blast strikes her.

"Chibi-Moon!" Usagi calls.

"Sailor Moon," says Chibi-Usa. "These are not them. They're enemies! It's hard, but remember that! All their bodies were torn apart by Galaxia and the others."

"But... They're all there. Alive before us, standing here, fighting..." "That's right!" Chibi-Usa says. "But this is not their true power! They've been reincarnated with Galaxia's power... To kill us!"

"It's my turn next," says Saturn. "Galactica Glaive Surprise!"

"Saturn!!" thinks Chibi-Usa.

Chibi-Chibi rushes in front of them, blocking the attack with her scepter.

"Bothersome girls," says Neptune. "Your next match is me! Galactica Violin Tide!"

Usagi holds off the attack. It is redirected, knocking down one of the palace pillars.

"No! That's not Neptune! This destruction power, this strength is...!"

Pluto and Saturn stand together.

"Garnet Orb!"

"Silence Glaive!"

"Galactica Cannon!!"

Their joined attack strikes Chibi-Chibi.

Usagi starts to run toward her, but is stopped by a noise behind her.

"Venus Love and Galactica Shock!!"

Usagi holds out her arms, and fights off the attack with a blast of her own.

"Hmph!" says Tuxedo Kamen.

He turns and runs inside the palace.

Usagi chases in after him.

He turns to face her, his eyes blank.

"Mamo-chan!" she thinks. "No, that's not Mamo-chan... Those eyes, that bracelet..."

The four inner soldiers enter the palace behind her.

"Galactica Gale!!"

Their power clashes with Usagi's, as she fights off their attack.

"Damnit!" says Tuxedo Kamen.

Chibi-Usa lifts herself off the ground.

"Sailor Moon! Everyone!!"

"This can't be happening!" say the Sailor Quartet.

"If we're all killed," says Chibi-Usa, "who will protect Earth!? Who will protect this galaxy!? What will become of our future!? Open your eyes! If you don't, it will all end here!!"

"Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!!"

Venus holds up her hand, looking coldly at Usagi.

"Is this the power of the sailor crystals of the sailor soldiers known as the strongest in the galaxy?" she says. "It's merely the dance of a slight breeze."

"I can't do this..." Usagi thinks. "I can't defeat them."

The eight soldiers hold out their hands.

"Galactica Planet Attack!!"

The wings are torn from Usagi's back as she falls backward, her scepter snapping in two.

She falls limp on the ground.

Her scepter shatters.

Tuxedo Kamen stands over her.

"So her wings have been broken. Heh heh..."

"If I don't act, we'll be killed!" Chibi-Usa thinks. "If I don't fight and defeat them, it will end here! We won't be able to reach Galaxia. We won't be able to defeat the real enemy!"

Chibi-Chibi grabs her arm.

"No," she says. "Don't do it. This is Sailor Moon's fight. The future of the galaxy depends on it. It's Sailor Moon's fight, so... So believe in her."

Usagi weakly lifts herself from the ground.

"Put her to an end," Tuxedo Kamen says.

"Sailor Moon!!" Chibi-Usa calls.

Chibi-Chibi clasps her hands together in prayer.

Usagi stands up.

"That's right. Things can't end here yet! I can't give up!"

Her scepter reappears before her.

"Silver Moon Crystal Power! Therapy Kiss!!"

The bracelets shatter, and the eight soldiers disintegrate into ash.

Usagi gasps.

Their eight crystals remain.

"Their sailor crystals!?"

She reaches for them, and they vanish.

She turns, standing in the hall of the palace. She sees the giant crystal held in the air.

And Galaxia in her golden sailor suit.

"I trust my golems put on a great performance for you? I am the galaxy's ultimate soldier of destruction. Welcome to the castle of Sailor Galaxia, Sailor Moon."

"I've finally made it," Usagi thinks. "To you, Sailor Galaxia...!"

"You're injured. They even broke your wings... Is your beautiful and radiant power so full of hatred toward me?"

"My power is not full because of hatred," Usagi says. "It is because I believe in the power of the sailor soldiers. They have all continued to give me strength. It is because I believe in the power of the sailor crystals. I've made it this far. It is because I believe in my own power."

"I want to be born together with everyone again," said Kakyuu.

"My allies will surely help me. It is because I believe we will live together again. It is because I believe we will have the future we've made! I can fight now."

"Your future with the ones you love?" Galaxia asks.

Tuxedo Kamen steps forth from the shadows, and kisses Galaxia's lips.

Usagi gasps.

He kisses the brooch on Galaxia's chest.

He kneels and kisses the ground beneath her feet.

"Stop!!" Usagi cries. "Stop, Mamo-chan!!"

Galaxia kicks him in the jaw, knocking him away.

She steps on his hand with her heeled boot.

"This man, and the power throughout the galaxy, everything in this galaxy belongs to me! If you want it back, you must fight me!"

"I will fight!" Usagi says. "I will fight and end this war!"

She raises her scepter.

Galaxia raises her arms with their bracelets.

Power surrounds them both as they charge toward each other.

Act 51

"Silver Moon Crystal Power Therapy Kiss!"

"Galactica Inflation!!"

Power surrounds them both as they charge toward each other.

Chibi-Usa and Chibi-Chibi run into the palace.

Chibi-Chibi holds up her glowing heart scepter.

"Sailor Moon!!" thinks Chibi-Usa. "Galaxia!!"

She looks at Chibi-Chibi.

"Chibi-Chibi, you know about this battle, don't you. If you really are my little sister, then our future must exist. We win this battle, and save everyone, don't we!? So that's why you told me to believe in Sailor Moon, right!? Chibi-Chibi, who are you really?"

The small girl looks into her eyes.

Galaxia knocks Usagi to the ground, holding her down.

"I was born alone as trash, on a planet of trash," she says. "I could do nothing but wander in solitude, living my days like I was in hell. But I have power as a sailor soldier. One day, it suddenly awakened. I was a chosen one. But being a mere sailor soldier would be the same as being trash. I had to have the strongest planet, carrying the strongest power! I came searching for a planet of my own, suitable for me! And then I found it. A magnificent planet. And to get that planet, I need the galaxy's ultimate power!"

Usagi throws her off, into the air.

"The power of the sailor soldiers is for justice and peace in the galaxy! For the ones we love and our friends!"

"Love? Friends?" says Galaxia. "Massing in groups is evidence of being trash. The only thing we can trust is our own power. Only the source of power, the sailor crystals. That is everything. The destroyed sailor soldiers, too, as long as they have sailor crystals, can be reincarnated in flesh with ease. And again, they will be items to be easily broken. Heh heh."

Usagi gasps.

"You should know that too," says Galaxia. "What you believe is only an empty illusion. Do you still say you believe in that?"

She stands beneath the large crystal holding the sailor crystals, next to Tuxedo Kamen.

"Things like love and friends! The peace of trash! Coexistence! The future!"

"You, the soldier of destruction, will not understand!" says Usagi. "The hands, the bodies, the words of our friends and those we love carry all kinds of power! My coming here, my living to this point, my ability to fight as a sailor soldier, is because I have my friends and the ones I love! That is a sailor soldier!!"

Galaxia stares at her.

Tuxedo Kamen and the Garden Crystal overhead vanish.

"They disappeared!?" Usagi thinks.

Galaxia turns and runs away into the palace. Usagi follows her.

"Carrier of the galaxy's strongest sailor crystal!" Galaxia thinks. "Why is it Sailor Moon! That girl of trash who doesn't do a thing! But whatever it takes, I have to get her power! So I can defeat Chaos and make the entire galaxy mine! I must have that power!"

She stops and turns, facing Usagi.

They stand on a cliff, overlooking a gigantic open cylinder of energy that shines with light.

Usagi looks down at it.

"This...!"

"This is the holy land of the stars," says Galaxia. "The Galaxy Cauldron. Strong stars and weak stars. Trash and sailor soldiers. This is the place where all the stars throughout the galaxy are born."

"The place where stars are born..." thinks Usagi. "It's so pretty... In all the galaxy, the sacred place most filled with possibility."

The Cauldron bubbles, steam rising into the air.

"This place," says Galaxia, "is the ultimate stage, where I will have the final chosen one. Everything is here. Here everything will be gone."

Tuxedo Kamen stands next to her as the Garden Crystal appears in the air.

She raises the giant crystal over the ledge.

"Galaxia!?" Usagi shouts. "What are you...!"

The crystal sinks into the Cauldron, and fades away.

"Everyone's sailor crystals...!?"

"Now there is nothing left of the galaxy's sailor crystals in the mother sea," says Galaxia. "It's so exhilarating. This Cauldron is the universe's strongest, completely unmatched star!"

Chibi-Usa and Chibi-Chibi reach the cliff.

Usagi stares into the Cauldron.

"All their sailor crystals are gone?" she thinks. "Gone!? I always believed... that with the sailor crystals... if I could return everyone back to normal... I would bring them back... That final hope... Their sailor crystals..."

She grasps her scepter.

"I won't let you," she says. "I won't let you do this, Galaxia!!"

"Yes, more, more," says Galaxia. "Fuel the flames of rage and the storms of hatred."

She raises her arm toward Tuxedo Kamen.

"Be alone, Sailor Moon," she says. "That feeling will awaken the bottomless power inside you."

"Mamo-chan!!"

Galaxia flicks her wrist, and Tuxedo Kamen falls back over the ledge.

"Then, when you've heard all the truth from Chaos, your power will explode recklessly, and along with Chaos, you'll be no more."

"Mamo-chan!!" Usagi cries.

Chibi-Usa and Chibi-Chibi gasp.

"At that time, I, Galaxia, will become the true ruler of the Cauldron!!"

Tuxedo Kamen falls into the light of the Cauldron, and is gone.

"Nooooo!!" Usagi cries, tears in her eyes.

Chibi-Usa gasps.

She reaches toward Usagi.

"Sailor M--"

"Chibi-Moon!?"

Chibi-Usa fades out of existence.

"Chibi-Moon!! Nooo!!"

"Ohhhh..." says Chaos.

"Have you drawn out your power!" says Galaxia. "You, too, will be the victim of Chaos, Sailor Moon! Inside this Cauldron, the zenith of power will explode, and you will be blown away along with Chaos! Galactica Super String!!"

She attacks Usagi.

Chibi-Chibi blocks her.

"She repelled it!?" thinks Galaxia. "Damn her! This sailor soldier!?"

"Ohhh..."

"Chaos-sama!" Galaxia says. "Now I give you the galaxy's strongest soldier, Sailor Moon! The time has come at last! I will have power, the galaxy, the whole universe! I give you Sailor Moon, boiling with the highest power!!"

A blast shoots up from the Cauldron.

Galaxia is knocked from the cliff.

"Galaxia!?" Usagi calls.

She reaches out and grabs her hand, pulling her back up.

A giant mass of energy forms before them.

Power blasts at Usagi. She holds Chibi-Chibi. Galaxia lies unconscious.

Light glows around Usagi.

"Ohhh! Such power!" says the energy. "That white brilliance! The power of the strongest light in the galaxy! So it has finally made it here to me. I am Chaos. The one who missed becoming a star. And the ruler of this Cauldron's stars of darkness."

"Chaos!?" says Usagi.

"Successor to the power of the light of this beautiful Cauldron. Your siblings, born from this same sea. The stars of evil darkness. Defeated by your hand. Adding brilliance to yourself. So your name has become known throughout all the galaxy. Heh heh heh."

"Siblings!?" says Usagi. "Stars of evil darkness!?"

"Seeking the power of light, roaming the galaxy. The incarnations of evil darkness. The kin you have wiped out. They were all alter selves of me. They all departed from here, crossing time and space. You are siblings."

"The enemies I've been fighting..." thinks Usagi.

"All siblings, born here, in the same place...!?"

"Your coming here was destiny," says Chaos. "Where there is light, there is darkness. The darkness calls to the light, and the light calls again to the darkness. Our destiny matches. As before, when everything was one here, the time has now come again for light and darkness to join hands! Soldier of the galaxy's strongest light, Sailor Moon! Give me your power now! At last, my long-awaited wish has come, for me to rule all the universe instead of this Cauldron!"

Galaxia wakes up. She looks at Usagi.

"Why did you save me?"

"Galaxia!" says Usagi.

"Finish me off! Chaos paid me no mind from the start. I can't win over such a huge existence after all. My planet wasn't here, either."

"I gave you my hand because inside you, I saw the loneliness of myself. I don't want to lose any more friends."

"I am an enemy!" says Galaxia. "This is war!"

"I can't fight anymore," says Usagi. "Everyone is gone. All this time, it wasn't for peace and justice. I only fought for the ones I love, and my friends. But now they're all gone. If I don't have my most precious ones... For who, for what should I fight?"

"Heh..." says Galaxia. "Both you and I can't fight. If the last sailor soldier is no more... Will now be the end of war?"

"The end of war..."

"Ohh..." says Chaos as power surrounds them.

"The thing I've been praying for," thinks Usagi. "In this form..."

"No," says Chibi-Chibi. "The wars will not end. They will always continue. But you can end this war, the one now. To save the galaxy's future. Sailor Moon, with your last power, eliminate the source of all the enemies, Chaos and the Cauldron, and end the war!"

"Chaos, and the Cauldron!? Chibi-Chibi?"

"Chaos is now completely one with the Cauldron. To completely eliminate Chaos, there is no choice but to destroy the Cauldron."

"But if the Cauldron is gone, no more stars can be born! Someday the galaxy's future will be no more!"

"But if you don't do that," Chibi-Chibi says, "this war and the history of suffering will continue forever! It will all be on your shoulders, Sailor Moon. You will regret this, Sailor Moon!"

"Chibi-Chibi...?"

Usagi looks at her.

"As long as stars can continue to be born, war will not end," Usagi says. "The darkness calls to the light, and the light calls again to the darkness. Is this the will of the galaxy? Saying I will end the war... Will that be the end of everything? And that glaive of death, this time must I be the one to bring it down?"

"But you have no choice," says Chibi-Chibi. "There is no alternative. To bring peace to the galaxy, there is nothing else..."

"But even if this galaxy is destroyed," says Galaxia, "somewhere a new Cauldron will surely be born again. Somewhere a new future will begin, and light and darkness may be born again. The end of war will not come so easily. A new future... Amazing, that those words are still inside me."

"Yes," says Usagi. "Yes. New futures will always continue to be created. And there, light and darkness, war and hope, life and death, joy and pain, will all exist again. Everything, that is this universe."

"Sailor Moon...!" thinks Galaxia. "You believe in such a distant future for this universe? Sailor Moon, are you the soldier that draws in everything? Sailor Moon... I've finally found it. My planet..."

She reaches out toward Usagi.

The bracelets on her wrists crack.

She drops to her knees.

"Too big... Too radiant... My arms don't reach..."

"Galaxia!?"

"But that planet will continue to shine in this universe eternally..."

The bracelets shatter.

Galaxia is no more.

"Galaxia!?" Usagi cries.

All that remains is the golden brooch she wore.

Usagi holds it in her hands as tears fall from her eyes.

"Chibi-Chibi," she says. "I won't give up. Everyone always told me... At the end of war there is hope and future. I will make our future. So don't you abandon hope and the future, either. Believe. Our star of hope will never disappear. As long as it keeps shining, we will be all right. We won't be defeated."

"Right," says Chibi-Chibi.

Light glows around her.

She transforms, becoming older. She floats up in her glowing adult body, and kisses Usagi.
