Comments: Serena and Darien (the dub names were the ones I knew them first by, and the ones I use for them in my fanfics) are the ultimate dream couple. . .a love that literally transcended death (several times over!) I don't think there's ever been a couple, in anime or elsewhere, more made for each other. Their total devotion has been *extremely* inspiring to me as a writer (the number of Serena/Darien romantic lemons I've written is testimony to this!) and I can't watch a scene with the two together without getting the "warm fuzzies." (Wish there was more of that. . .why the heck did they have to get rid of him for almost all of Sailorstars, anyway?) Long live the First Couple of Anime!

They understand their relationship and eachother, and never consider what they have as a convenience (which is what I find, most royal couples think of eachother). They never doubt their loyalty and trust in eachother, and most of all they are in love. Usagi and Mamoru are what any couple should be. Not only this, but they are a very important inspiration to me. I know this must sound corny, but I look to them for guidance and understanding. My own parents are not exactly the perfect example.
