Serena Dwyer Hey Everyone! Well, not much to say on this one....the end will be in a few more chapters....not much more to go! Oh! Sailor Moon isn't mine, or doesn't (legally) have anything to do with me! Naoko Tacheuchi is the genius who created Sailormoon and all associated characters. Painful Memories- Chapter 8 ---Tuesday--- A depressed Selene went to school the next day. Molly recognized her friend's lack of emthusiasm and asked her why. "Oh Molly, my world is falling down around me and I wish I could tell you more than I can, but I can't. All I can say is that a small child depends in me to do something important, but I can't! Plus I don't even deserve my boyfriend. He is so good to me, but I always end up hurting him! He could do so much better! Eben though I love him, I wish he'd go and find someone else, like someone who is as good and perfect as him. I just don't come anywhere near him!" she began to cry. Molly led her over to a private place where no one could see, so they could talk. "I'm so sorry Molly, I shouldn't burden you with all my problems." "Hey! It's okay!" Molly soothed. "I want to help if I can. Even if it's just to be a shoulder to cry on!" "When we kissed last night, it felt so right! But I just can't keep him back from being with others, better than me." Selene sniffed. "It sounds to me like he loves you." Molly said. "He says he does, and I know I love him, but-" "No buts!" Molly told her. "If you two love eachother, then you belong together." "Did *you* ever love someone?" Selene asked, wiping away her tears. "Yes, but we couldn't be together. He had to leave suddenly." Molly said, remembering her encounter with Nephlite a few years back. "Oh, I'm sorry" Selene apologized. "Thank-you. you really helped. I'll never forget this....I owe you one!" she smiled at her friend. "Anytime. Glad I could help! So, are you going to the 'Sailor Moon Day' thing tomorrow?" Molly asked. "Yeah, it's going to be really cool! But now, we'd better get to homeroom!" she said with a smile. "Oh! By the way, could you give this to Melvin for me?" she asked. Seeing Molly's questioning look, she continued. "It's a list of my statistics, and family backround for his file on me." "How did you know he kept those?" Molly asked her. "Oh, I have my ways...." Selene answered mysteriously. "Selene, have you been crying?" Ms. Haruna asked as Selene passed in her homework. "Oh, no Ms. H, I just never got enough sleep last night." she covered quickly, reassuring her teacher. "Ms. Haruna nodded and smiled understandingly, then moved on to the next student for their homework. During English, Ms. Haruna asked Selene to go in front of class and give her essay on "My Life Now". She praised it, saying it was the best in the class, and wanted everyone to hear it. Selene blushed slightly and stood up. While she was walking through the aisle of desks, she suddenly fainted. "Stand back, give her some air!" Ami called out as she pushed through people to the center of the circle where Selene lay in the middle. People were crowding around, and it made it difficult to get to her, and for the air that Selene needed, to get in. "Guys, get back, NOW!" Lita barked. Everyone immediately listened and backed off a few steps. After all, who wanted to mess with a girl who got kicked out of her former school for fighting? Even though she hadn't gotten into any trouble since she had come, a reputation still lingers. Ami knelt beside Selene and quickly checked for breathing and a pulse, both of which were there. She, and the rest of the class, breathed a sigh of relief as Selene's eyes fluttered open. "Ami?" Selene asked, unsure of herself, "What....what happened?" she looked around. "What am I doing on the floor?" she propped herself up onto her elbows, her mind not fully clear. She gingerly rubbed the back of her head, where she had fallen. "You fainted." Ami told her. "You're going to be okay though. You just need rest. Although I do think you're going to have a bump on your head." "Oh, I didn't get a chance to have breakfast, that must be why I fainted!" Selene said foolishly, looking embarassed. "Hmmm....that's twice in three days Selene. Now, I'm no expert like Ami here, but I don't think that's good." Lita told her. "Oh, I just never get a chance to eat breakfast anymore!" Selene lied. "Not since Mom and Dad are off on another buisness trip." "Well, breakfast is the most important meal. You really should try to get time to eat it." Ami told her, knowing full well that she was fainting because of her excessive use of the diguise pen. Knowing that her friend needed rest, she turned to Ms. Haruna. "I think it would be wise if Selene went home for the rest of the day to sleep and eat a bit Ms. Haruna." Selene was startled. She was just going to suggest that....but why would Ami? Was she catching on? 'Oh my God! you're being too paranoid!' Selene told herself. 'Ami's planning to be a doctor, and she's practicing diagnosing people.....she's just trying to be helpful!' Then she turned to her teacher. "Actually Ms. H, I think I probably should go home. I'm feeling kinda weak and think I should rest a bit." "Sure Selene." Ms. Haruna said. "and get something to eat too!" "Thanks. I will. Bye!" Serena stood in her apartment, disguise pen in hand. "I suppose I have to get some rest now, thanks to you!" she cursed the pen. Serena walked to her room and lay down for a *long* sleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ End Chapter 8.
