When a story is submitted for review, it will be reviewed by 8-9 judges, selected by the webmistress/site owner of Usagi and Mamoru.com. If the site owner has received favorable reports and the story also meets her approval, the author will be contacted and the story will then be archived here.

If an applicant's story is not accepted, and has gained unfavorable reviews, the suggestions and advice will all be written out in the REVIEWS section. Remember, the opinions of the judges are just that - opinions. Take the criticisms for what they are worth, improve your stories if you wish, re-apply if you like, but above all else, remember that you write to make YOURSELF happy. The stories archived here are the best according to the opinions of the site owner and the judges and if your story does not make it on here, it may not mean that you're story isn't great - it just didn't meet the approval of the judges. Other readers, however, may love your story. Just keep working hard.

Requirements

• Stories are accepted in .TXT or .HTM format ONLY.
• If your stories are in .txt, send them in ZIPPED! Use WINZIP to put all your txt documents into ONE zipped document that can be easily downloaded and unzipped.
• If you have a LINK to your story, PLEASE send the link or in .htm format
• Stories must focus on the love between Usagi and Mamoru. If there are break-ups the couple must get back together and there must be a believable and logical reason for the break up.
• Hentai is alright as long as it is not just raw sex over and over again. There must be a point to the love making - must show the love between the couple.
• Fics should not exaggerate negative qualities about Usagi or Mamoru. Everyone has faults but the anime and dic dubs overly exaggerated U&M's flaws and fan fic authors do the same. I do not enjoy reading fics which make Mamoru out to be an insensitive jerk because he was not so in the manga, nor was Usagi crybaby, wimpy ditz. I prefer to see them in a more positive light.
• Uniqueness in fics is important. We've all read the hundreds of Mamoru breaks up with Usagi fics - give us something different - but the same old is fine as long as it's done well
• Lastly, NON-UsaMamo Fics will be accepted but ONLY if they are outstanding in plot and writing.
