WHY THE CHAT ROOM IS DOWN
In the past week I've recieved several emails from people who entered the chat room here. They've informed me that the people in the chat curse from the "D" word that goes for the male private part to the "F" word (vulgar slang for sex) - and enough is enough.

It's obvious that some Sailor Moon fans lack ANY kind of maturity, and ANY kind of moral decency.

This domain is devoted to love, beauty and honour. Until the patrons of this chat room can chat maturely there will be NO chat room for this domain.

For the innocent people who come to the Chat to hang out with friends and just behave normally, I'm sorry, but you can thank the other vulgar idiots and their nasty mouths for this shut down.

This chat room will be shut down until I find a chat room with moderation powers and banning privileges.

A KIND LETTER FROM SOMEONE THANKING ME FOR SHUTTING DOWN THIS CHAT ROOM
Hi! I love U&M and I go into the chat room alot to hang out with my friends and such, and as much as i love it, i'm glad you shut it down for now. People in there were getting way out of hand, and when we warned them that it could be shut down, they didn't believe us, well maybe they'll believe us now, as much as I'll miss u&m chat, maybe these people will learn to watch what they say. ^-^

A FUN LETTER COMPLAINING ABOUT THE CHAT ROOM'S SHUT DOWN
This was emailed to me by Mystic Goku - I will not reveal his email address. This was my response to his email.

His letter was part funny and part annoying. C'mon people - get a life - go do something else besides visiting chat rooms and then emailing their owners. Geez. I'll reiterate here what I say at the end of this page: This is here to show everyone that this chat room is a tiny part of UM.com and it wasn't meant to be abused. And many of you HAVE abused it. Sorry again to the people who just used the chat room for clean purposes and who didn't engage in this mess. I will have a wonderful new chat room for the TRUE fans up soon.

For starters, UM.com is not out there to be popular for its chat room - the chat room is a TINY INSIGNIFICANT feature that I can add or remove AS I PLEASE. I added that chat room FIRST just for the members of the Usagi and Mamoru mailing list and then decided to open it up to all visitors of the domain.

Secondly, UsagiandMamoru.com has become popular for its CONTENT. Don't u DARE insult me or the site by saying it's popular for a stupid chat room - a chat room frequented by some of the most vile and most trashy people.

Third, I HAVE been in that chat room and in fact, I was cursed at TO MY FACE in my OWN chat room. Putting up a chat room does NOT entitle you or anyone else to think you can talk and act however you please in there.

ACTUALLY, my most devoted fans are NOT chat room frequenters. They are sweet people who email me and have become friends with me throughout the past 3 years. And I have never sat there and insulted devoted fans. If you were a truly devoted fan, you wouldn't have even written the rude and insulting letter you have.

what in the WORLD are you talking about? Walk a mile in whose shoes? the so called "devoted fans" who come to the chat room? I don't need or want these "fans" who curse and give my chat room and site a BAD NAME with their trashy talk.

You misjudge me Mystic Goku. I HAVE frequented the chat a lot. Either as Nishi or NeoQueenSelenity, Usagi, or EternalSailorMoon and I HAVE seen what goes on there. So don't think I don't know.

It's a fact that the people in my chat room behaved immaturely. ANYONE with an OUNCE of maturity would not be cursing left and right and causing trouble and hurting feelings. I didn't get emailed by a few people - I have over 30 emails througout the past 2 MONTHS from people who've complained about the chat room and its hideous visitors.

uh??? WHAT? May i ask what YOU are thinking to presume ANYTHING about me. *I* am managing my domain and if ONE part of my domain is causing problems, I don't care if it's famous or insignifant, I will do with it as I please.

the main reason your website has had so much success was because of that chatroom, and the people who were fans of you and your website continuously going there.

Man you know NOTHING about my websites. UsagiandMamoru.com became successful because of its content. The emails and compliments I receive are because people actually LEARN about Sailor Moon. The chat room is just a *little fun feature* - not the be all and end all of this site. Go to TuxedoMask.com if you want a site popular for chat rooms *roll eyes*

really? I *used* have a chat room with banning powers and I banned LOTSA people and it was very popular and SAFE and a NICE place. Since I switched to multicity all the trash came in. And believe me, I went in enough these days to know who was doing what.
